A third Person (3rd person) Star Wars game is coming by the creators of TITANFALL…

It seems we might just get that Star Wars 1313 we saw a few years back at E3 2013. According to EA’s blog:

Today, I’m thrilled to be able to announce that EA and the talented team at Respawn Entertainment have expanded our relationship to include the development of an all-new 3rd person action adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. They join our other great studios – Visceral Games, DICE, Capital Games, BioWare, Motive and more – who are currently working on Star Wars projects. If you’re interested in joining us on this adventure, you can visit our Careers page – we have openings at Visceral and Motive and will be sharing more on these experiences soon.

I don’t know about you but this is some exciting news. Now if you don’t know what the Star Wars 1313 is, basically it’s a cancelled action-adventure video game that was under development by LucasArts. The game would take a more mature, gritty direction compared to past Star Wars video games and from what we saw at E3, and it looked incredibly promising.

Now will the creators of Titanfall be able to match that kind of scale, will this game be based on the recent Star Wars Movie, The Force Awakens or will they focus on some creating brand new characters for this game, guess only time will tell but I’m still hyped about this news.

Let me know your thoughts. May the Fourth be with you!
