As some of you may or may not be aware, New York Comic Convention took place over the week and with that came a ton of new trailers and info, one of which is a 5 minute trailer of the new Aquaman movie.I won’t lie to you, I’m a harsh critic of Warner Bros and the DC cinematic universe. Aside from Wonder Woman, not a single film has impressed me. However, that might be changing. As with with Shazam, I’m really starting to feel this Aquaman movie.
If anything, it’s visually pleasing and has some pretty epic world building going on. The plot also seems to not be so bad either, with it focusing on Arthur returning to Atlantis and reclaiming his throne. I’m trying to stay positive here but with DC’s track record being so low, my faith in this movie ain’t so high but it’s better.
This five minute trailer kinda helped with it but with all trailers, they tend to show the best parts of a movie, which isn’t always a good thing. However, the director himself “claims” that we’re only seeing a snippet of the movie:
