So, I’m sure by now you’ve heard about the famous Raimi Suit, right? You know, that amazing suit that was once featured in The Spider-man Trilogy? That suit that’s worth sending death threats to developers and mass disliking recent Insomniac videos to have it in Spider-Man PS4 game and consequently making the majority of the spider-man community, and to an extent the gaming community look like toxic & entitled fan boys? No? It’s OK if you’re not aware of it since you clearly have better priorities but I still gotta talk bout it as this whole ordeal blew my mind.
So Bandai Namco decided to premiere their latest trailer for JUMP Force and I’m puzzled by what I witnessed! There was nothing juicy at all that warranted a premiere. Had they just released the trailer, that would have been OK, but the fact that they decided to hype it up this lackluster trailer was beyond me. I mean, story-wise it’s not bad. I like the concept and ideas behind the narrative and I’m excited to see how all this will play out but I can’t be the only one who picked up on the fact that the game’s visuals and animations looked just as rough as when the game was first unveiled to the public.
Gaming journalism has being the butt of the joke in the gaming community. No one respects the art anymore, and for good reasons. What was once a medium used to tell news in an objectified manner and to inform the public of any relevant information and news that may be of use to them, has now turned into this…this, for lack of better word, a fucking dumpster fire. Of course it’s easy for me to call out the flaws of anything but what I wanted to do is discuss how we can fix this narrative as a community.
After years of waiting (for me it’s only a year since I only got into the franchise in 2017) we’re only a month away to witnessing the final arc of this amazingly con-deluded story that is Kingdom Hearts. Yes, I’m aware of the leaks that took place and you best believe I’ve muted everything.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink has a brand new trailer showing more of the game and it’s 3D capabilities.
Looks like Arc System Works got another fighting game, this time in the form of GRANBLUE FANTASY Versus and it looks really good!
I played the Red Dead Redemption online for at least 20 hours and I can safely say that the game is hollow and…well, kinda boring at its current state.
I never played the first Red Dead Redemption so when I jumped into Red Dead Redemption 2, I didn’t know what to expect story-wise. I only got interested in the game for the online mode that was that’s due later this year. Little did I know that I was going to be experiencing one of the best story-telling in recent memories.
This is something that has been on my mind for quite a while now. After revisiting some of the earlier games like Storm 4, FighterZ and Xenoverse 2, it got me thinking about how we still haven’t seen many anime games reach a higher level of quality that is expected in 2018. Mediocre seems to be the normal standard with these types of games and we as anime games consumers have been enabling it for far too long!
