NieR Re[in]carnation first gameplay reveal gave us a glimpse of what we can expect for the upcoming mobile game and damm, I wasn’t expecting it to look so clean!
We’re living in uncertain times! With the COVID-19 changing our very way of life, we all had to adapt. However, I’d never imagined that we would be heading towards a world previously only thought to only exist in dystopian sci-fi films. What I’m getting at is this, reports are going around that Google and Facebook are working with various authorities/govs to relay personal information of those who may be suspect of carrying the Chinese Covid-19 virus. Not only that but there’s also talk of a contact tracing app that keeps track of your whereabouts and contacts you’ve made with other people.
Get that bag! That’s a phrase you’ll hear a lot on YouTube from people trying to make big money on the platform. It’s often encouraged by their fellow content creators and for the most part, mostly never led to anything malicious. However, after the raid of sponsorships YouTube from one infamous mobile game, Raid: Shadow Legends, one has got to wonder, is it ethical to take sponsorships for a product you won’t use or care for in the slightest? Have we moved past that sentiment, to which no one really cares about the authenticity of the product been promoted to people?
Who would have thought that I’d see 5G mobile tech get associated or blamed for the Coronavirus, but if anything, it does put a spotlight once again to the next generation of mobile internet connectivity and whether or not it might have any long term negative attributes to it.
I just found out that Mario Kart Tour is now available today on iOS and Android, so I decided to download the game and see how it fairs. And honestly, it’s actually a lot of fun.
In the past, I’ve heard of a mod in Dota called Autochess, in which players play a game with similar concept to chess, along with characters from Dota 2. Sporting up to eight players, the game assigns them to eight different chessboards and goal is to be the last man standing. Valve became aware of this concept and although they couldn’t come to an agreement with the creators of this mod, they then took it upon themselves to create a brand new game based on the same concept.
Another year, another bulk of mobile game to rate. Last year I wrote a blog titled “Top 5 Most Friendliest F2P Gacha Game In 2017”, so it’s only natural that I’d do one for 2018. There’s a lot of mobile games this year, especially gacha games, but for me I tend to play only mobiles games that reward you for your time, not your wallet. Now there’s nothing wrong in putting some money in a mobile game, especially if you enjoy the heck outta it and want to show your support towards the devs who made the game, but for me, if I have to spend money to enjoy a mobile then it’s no fun for me.
With how rapid technology is evolving, we are now living in an era where it is no longer possible to easily take anything we see online at face value. Anything can be manipulated to create a certain agenda and if one isn’t careful enough, they too will fall prey to these malicious attacks.
Pokemon Go, the app that everyone loves to use to catch Pokemon has become an international phenomenon. So it should be of no surprise that some crazy stuff have happened since the app’s release to the public….
