The Xbox Insider didn’t show much, but at least we got another anime game out of it. Scarlet Nexus is a psionic-powered action game by Bandai Namco!
Yeah, I’m late but I was waiting for a clear trailer to drop before talking about the new Burn the Witch anime that’s about to drop sometime this year!
I gotta say it, nostalgia is the sole reason why we keep supporting and getting these mediocre anime games. As long as we continue to let our nostalgia blind us, we will never get good quality anime games.
If the opening movie of this game is anything to go by, then you know we’re in for one hell of an emotional journey with Digimon Survive. I can sense it.
Here’s some news I wasn’t expecting from Bandai, they’re working on a brand new anime online action RPG called Blue Protocol. If they screenshot and description is anything to go by, then this might be one to keep an eye out!
The one game that took me by surprise when it was revealed during E3 was Tales of Arise, a new entry to the Tales series that really looking to shake things up.
With all that Pokemon Sword and Shield hype going on, some of y’all may have forgotten that another game about taming monsters is also coming out in 2019 (hopefully), and that’s Digimon Survive. We haven’t heard much since it’s reveal back in 2018 but hopefully that will change in the upcoming months.
This is something that has been on my mind for quite a while now. After revisiting some of the earlier games like Storm 4, FighterZ and Xenoverse 2, it got me thinking about how we still haven’t seen many anime games reach a higher level of quality that is expected in 2018. Mediocre seems to be the normal standard with these types of games and we as anime games consumers have been enabling it for far too long!
A terrifying new experience from Bandai Namco called THE DARK PICTURES: MAN OF MEDAN caught my attention at Gamescom 2018 and if the trailer is any indication for what we might be expecting, then I’m enticed.
