Legends of Runeterra, an upcoming free-to-play online digital collectible card game developed and published by Riot Games is currently holding an open beta for the game, so I decided to check the game out to see if this DCCG holds up!
Here’s news that I honestly wasn’t too surprised by, Lost Ark Online, a 3D massively-multiplayer online role-playing game developed by SmileGate, unfortunately, does not seem to have any plans to bring the game to the West.

At G-STAR 2019, Pearl Abyss unveiled three new games: Plan 8, Crimson Desert, and DokeV. I’ll be honest, I don’t care much for the last game, however Plan 8 and Crimson Desert do look very interesting, with Plan 8 standing out as the most unique one.
Word on the street has it that CD Project is planning on implementing what they’ve described to be a “wise monetization” strategy for Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer. This of course has raised the eyebrows of many gamers who obviously remember all the claims made by CD Projekt Red in terms of not participating is such business practices. Not to mention our sour history of other gaming companies unethical practices of such things. To my understanding, it seems that CD Projekt Red only spoke for the single player component of the game being monetization free, leaving the multiplayer portion up for debate.
Well, if had told me that Valve would finally be making a new Half-Life game, well I’d just laugh at your face and assumed you’re just memeing like everyone else. However lo and behold, Valve sneaked attacked us all and revealed Half-Life: Alyx, a new VR game that frankly looks really impressive. So impressive in fact that I feel like we’re looking at potentially the next evolution of gaming.
Ever since its initial reveal at the E3 2018, Babylon’s Fall, a game by Square Enix and Platinum Games, the game has fallen out of radar completely. Most people have forgotten about the game, including yours truly, however, that’s changing as an interview with Yosuke Saito from Gematsu reveals that there will be news by the end of this year.
The Outer Worlds, an action role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Private Division took many of us by surprise. It’s an excellent game that quite honestly does action role-playing genre right. It’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed an open world game like Outer Worlds, and I’m here to tell you that the best way to play The Outer Worlds is by cranking up that difficulty to the highest level, SuperNova!
