So, I’m about to open up pandora’s box with this discussion. I strongly believe that Saitama from One Punch Man can’t be categorized as a mere gag character, not with the level of complexity he has shown in the anime thus far.
A brand new Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown trailer is out, showing a new setting for squad’s new adventure.
Muzan Kibutsuji has only had a couple of minutes to shine in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 8 and already I think he’s going to be dope ass villain.
Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru Chapter 3 – Cut the Cake Tank didn’t have too much of an action scene moment, in my opinion, but it did reveal more world building info about Samurai 8 and a hint that there’s more to Hachimaru than w’eve led to believe.
So shit hit the fan in The Rising of the Shield Hero Episode 20. Last review I specifically mentioned how I wanted to see what the Queen was capable of doing, and now it looks like we may get to see that very soon.
You know what’s funny, over the past few reviews, I’ve expressed how this season of One Punch Man has successfully captured my interested for the plot, to see why the villains and monsters are attacking so aggressively and their end goal. Then I saw a comment that actually gave me a realization. We see all this shit go down, yet there’s no urgency. I don’t feel like anything going wrong nor do I feel like there’s a threat. It’s weird.
If there’s one thing that I didn’t miss when Attack on Titan Season 3 was still in production, it’s the cliff-hangers. How in the hell are you gonna leave it at that? Aside from that hype moment, Attack on Titan season 3 Episode 53 – Perfect Game, perfectly illustrated and encapsulated the sheer sense of hopelessness that the scouts are enduring right now.
So, who in their right mind steps into a black pond with no knowledge of where it leads? Bruh, that part threw me off. That, and Muzan being a straight up savage. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 7 is the beginning of some great events to come.
So after reading Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru Chapter 2, I’m starting to get a feel of what to expect going forward. What I’d like to discuss is whether we’ve prematurely proclaimed this manga to be great just because the author is Kishimoto.
