Aztech Forgotten Gods: A UNIQUE FUTURISTIC Take On MESOAMERICAN Culture!

When I first saw Aztech Forgotten Gods, I honestly didn’t think much of it at the time. However, taking a deeper look actually made me more interested in this game.

Aztech Forgotten Gods is the cyber-stone action-adventure following Achtli, a young woman who battles the colossal Forgotten Gods. To uncover the truth behind her far-future Mesoamerican metropolis, she’ll have to turn the Gods’ power against them, as she soars through the city with power and grace using an ancient artifact, remnant of a time long forgotten.

This story takes place in an alternative future where the Aztec empire was never conquered and thus has flourished into a hyper-advanced civilization. That was one of the reasons that I began to get interested in Aztech Forgotten Gods. We don’t get too many Mesoamerican games, and when we do, it’s always told from a past perspective.

The second thing was the anime and big-ass monsters fight in the game. Aztech Forgotten Gods will let you face off in electrifying battles against gigantic creatures resembling deities from the Aztec pantheon. The fights really have this anime vibe to it and I’m really digging it.

Lastly is the exhilarating verticality and mobility. With that mysterious technology on her arm, it will allow us to uncover ancient secrets in a city ripe for exploration. Now, my only gripe with the game is how empty the world looks. I mean, I hope the devs will at least try to populate the world with people or something.

Achtli, the main character crawls out of the rubble to discover two things: her prosthetic arm has been replaced with a mysterious stone artifact, and an ethereal voice in her head is claiming its own divinity. Now, Achtli must face the Forgotten Gods in order to stop them from destroying everything that she loves.

I look forward to seeing more from this game.
