Black Sun has been one of my personal most anticipated webcomics after Project Divider. Three episodes have been released so far and it’s pretty good!

So the premise of the story goes as follows:

A boy who has no knowledge of the burden he carries or the evil that’s lurked in dark searching for him since birth, will soon feel the weight of being the last hope …the last flame of humanity!

Black Sun Manga centers around a young boy by the name of Yu, who has had his whole life turned upside-down when a Demon finds him and refers to him as the “Key” while murdering his mother before his eyes.
He later finds out she was from a secret Shinobi society tasked with protecting the mortal realm from an unholy evil prophecy set to repeat itself.

If I were to compare it to any other story, it reminded me of Naruto’s origins a bit. Heck, even the hinted idea of the baby carrying some sort of omen is similar to Naruto and the Nine Tail’s fox. However, aside from that, I felt the story was pretty intriguing. Apparently, in this world, demons exist and if they’re anything like the one that was introduced to us, I’m very much looking forward to it. The art is great, really detailed, and expressing when it needs to be. Given that there’s going to be a lot of actions, it holds up well. The fight scenes were top notch, one of the rrasons why I wanted to check it this manga out and so far it did not disappoint. If you enjoyed Naruto, then I feel this one is worth checking out.

It’ll be interesting to see how they’ll tell the story of a child born with ominous powers, and given some of the abilities that were showcased in the pages, it looks like we’re in for a treat! You can check out the webcomic on Webtoons! Let me know what you guys think?
