I saw this on Twitter all the long but never took it seriously! However, after looking into it, it’s true! Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, is really coming back to save the Boruto manga.

Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto will begin writing the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga starting with Chapter 52, which goes on sale this month.

Up to now, Ukyo Kodachi was writing all 52 chapters, with Mikio Ikemoto handling the illustration duties. The official Naruto/Boruto Twitter account announced that Kishimoto would be writing the manga, which is included in the December issue of V Jump that goes on sale on November 21. Now I know the fanbase is thinking that Kishimoto read the last chapter and thought “OH Heck no, what is man doing?” and came rushing to save his work, but it turns out this was planned from the start!

Well, now this is getting really interesting! I can’t wait to finally have Naruto and Sasuke’s powers actually make sense for one! What do you guys think? Are you hypos for the return of the original creator?
