Ninja & Other Gaming YouTubers Slam Joe Rogan For Calling Video Games A “Problem” & “Waste Of Time”!

So, Joe Rogan calls gaming a waste of time & the gaming community reacted to it as I expected them to! It’s honestly upsetting how so many reacted emotionally as opposed to actually listening to what the guy said.

In an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan basically says that video games are a “waste of time” because they are addictively fun, but not as profitable as other hobbies. This has resulted in a major backlash, eliciting unrelenting reactions from the gaming community’s fans and professionals.

Many prominent figures in the gaming space began fighting back the comments, calling it dumb, and basically comparing playing video games to listening to a podcast, such as his own podcast! For me, when I watched that clip, it made a lot of sense to me. Yes, gaming can be profitable and has proven itself to be that, but not everyone is capable of turning it into a worthwhile business or even wants to. I think he was refrring and talking from a point of it being a hobby that has taken over most of your life. Just like anything else, moderation is key!

Joe Rogan ain’t wrong here! If you’re not making videos or streaming at a high or entertaining level, playing an excessive amount of video games will not lead you anywhere in life! Anything in life needs to be indulged in moderation. It was a very, although badly worded, a simple concept. If you play video games for 8 hours a day as a hobby, every day for 10 years, you will be in the same spot in your life as you were when you first started playing if you don’t learn to manage your time. And you gotta learn other skill to even take gaming into a possible career path.

Just because I’m a gamer, does not mean I have to blindly support my hobby like how many in the community have done over this clip.

Let me know what you guys think of this. Was he wrong?
