Outta nowhere, we get a Shaman King remake announcement, and I’m all for it!

Shaman King Remake will be adapting the manga more faithfully this time around from what I was able to tell so that great to hear! According to Crunchyroll:

Hiroyuki Takei’s Shaman King is returning to the world anime in April 2021, according to the official website for the franchise. The series is announced to adapt all 35 volumes of Hiroyuki Takei’s famous manga, similar to how Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood or Fruits Basket revisited their respective franchises many years after a first anime project that completed before the manga was able to provide the canonical ending.”

However, since this is a remake, if there’s one this I do want to see changed, personally, it’s Chocolove McDonell design. At the very least, reduce those stereotypical lips of his, other than that I’m hyped!
