An Animated Mortal Kombat Film Is In The Works At Warner Bros! Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge To Hit Theaters 2020!

Well, this is some awesome news that I completely missed. It turns out that Warner Bros are working on an animated Mortal Komat film and I can’t wait to see this unfold.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. Animation is plotting an animated movie based on the fighting video game Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge. I am beyond hyped for this film. Obviously, this film has to be R-rated, anything else would be a crime to humanity itself. And basing it on Scorpion is pretty cool, seeing as he’s the most recognizable character with the most interesting backstory.

I’m looking forward to this in 2020, as that’s when it was reported to hit theaters.
