I’m telling you, with the introduction of the Teslasuit Glove, we are getting this much closer to a new form of gaming experience, likes of which were once thought to be dreams.

There’s this company called Telsasuit, that are working on a full body haptic feedback system that can be engaged on actions, on demand, or in response to motion capture comparison.

The feedback from the suit provides users with sensation and a sense of touch in virtual and augmented reality. Teslasuit’s integrated biometric system gathers real-time data from users while training – which can be used to relay emotional state, stress level, and key health indicators. Of course, right now this suit is mostly used of medical, athletic and rehabilitation uses. However, that doesn’t mean that it’s limited to just does uses. The entertainment field such as gaming for instance could greatly benefit from such a suit, taking immersion in gaming to an all new heights. And now with the introduction of the Telsasuit Gloves, we are looking into a new realm of possibility when it comes to how we may play our games in the future.

Picture this, you playing a new horror game, lets say Resident Evil right, and you going through this eery corridor and as you’re walking down that path, you start to feel this warm sensation on your shoulder. Almost as if someone is breathing down your neck. That can all be simulated with the haptic body suit. Just the idea of this sound hype as all hell. True, techs like these in their early stages are bound to be crazy expensive, but I feel like in due time as the method of creating these VR headsets suits and gloves become cheaper, one can’t help but get excited for the future of gaming.

It may have to be re-tuned to fit withing a gaming situation but nevertheless, the blueprint’s there and now can be built upon it. Still, despite what I’m saying this, I still don’t think everyone will be able get one as I feel this type of tech will fall on the high-end of the luxury spectrum, like the iPhones.

What do you guys think, would you be down for complete immersion in gaming?
