Alright, I don’t care what anyone says, Senku’s dad is not only a genius in his own rights, but hands down the greatest anime dad of all time. Dr. STONE Episode 24 ended on a nice tone, a calm before the storm that’s to come in Season 2.
What are the odds, the absolute odds of Senku hearing his father’s last few words to him, recorded on a disk made out of a bottle, place in what was later known to be the graveyard of the founder, with the only hint being a tale about bees and speakers? This is the kind of stuff that’s both ridiculous and amazing about this anime. The foresight and faith Senku’s dad had for his son is outstanding. This whole episode was just wholesome altogether. I’ll be honest, there’s not much for me to say. The stage has now been set and the Stone Wars is almost upon us.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with this anime. Dr. Stone brought a fresh air to the Shonen trope and I can’t wait for season 2 to come back and grace us with more science goodness.
