Alright, things are heating up as Company 8 continues to face off against the Evangelist. Hinawa comes upon an abandoned subway station, where he gets into a shootout with Arrow. Right after that. Arthur and Mirage find themselves in a rematch, as Arthur gets the chance to put the training he received from Benimaru and Konro to the test.
I don’t know how the rest of the community felt about this week’s episode, but I for one enjoyed it a lot. The shoot out between Hinawa and Arrow was dope, especially the stylized scenes, where all we saw were the silhouettes as they stood menacingly. Those moments really brought out the intensity of their battle. I will admit that I wasn’t too fond of Hinawa’s ability at first, truth be told I thought it was lame, however the way he made use of those barrels and the flames of his opponent was epic so I’ll give him some props there.
Then Arthur steps in and shows off the results of his training, learning to feel the intent of his enemies attack, and knowing the difference between a feint and real attack at his life. With one slash of his sword, he took down his opponent. So there isn’t much to talk about aside from how much he’s improved since the last time he fought him. Now for the really interesting pair up. Giovanni and Lisa vs Vulcan and Obi. We both know Obi and Vulcan have no chance in besting Lisa, let alone Lisa and Giovanni, so one would expect that Shinra will show up in the last minute to help even the odds. It’s either that or Vulcan somehow converts Lisa back to their side and she helps fight off Giovanni, but looking at the mental hold he has on her, it won’t be easy.
Overall, I really like the aesthetic that they went with this episode and I can’t wait to see how their fights will play out.
