Dr. STONE Episode 23 finally led to the conclusion the Senku phone and now, they’re ready for war.
I liked some of the moments in the episode, from Kaseki realizing that he has maker friends and that age doesn’t matter when it comes to sharing knowledge of science, to Chrome proving that he can and will step up to the occasion when called upon and all the in-betweens on how Senku’s inventions directly and indirectly affects the village for the better and how everyone contributing is helping to see the vision come true so to speak. I guess the underling message here is that: everyone is needed to progress and reach a goal.
Now that Senku’s phone is built, I can’t wait to see how they’ll be able to use it to their advantage as I keep getting the feeling that Tsukasa won’t be that easily defeated. He too may have a few tricks up his sleeves that could turn the tide of battle to his favour. Also, I wanted to make a note of this here to see if I’m the only one who’s getting this vibe from Gen. I don’t know why but the more they show the guy on screen, the more I think he might end up be playing a double agent at this point. I could be wrong but come on, it wouldn’t be the first time an anime would have done it.
Maybe Dr. Stone may not be that type of anime, but still, Gen looking hella suspicious right now and I can’t put my finger on it as to why. Overall, I enjoyed seeing the progress and learning new things as always.
