What an ending. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 26 really hit them feels hard and got me hyped up for the feature length film that’s going to be covering the Infinity Train Arc!

Muzan Kibutsuji, gathers the Lower Ranks of the Twelve Kizuki. I thought Muzan was badass already but this whole scene with him disposing of all the Lower Rank demons was crazy! Not only is he over-powered, he can read minds and catch any of these demons if they tried to run away. We haven’t even seen him fight and already the anime has done an incredible job illustrating the potential strength that this guy may have. How the Demon Slayers are going to beat this guy is beyond me, but it’s a fight I can’t wait to see. Also, is this Muzan’s true form? Now that he’s demonstrated that he can take various forms, it could be that we haven’t actually seen what he really looks like.

Aside from that, the rest of the episode had Tanjiro bid farewell to everyone that helped him. It was heart-warming for the most part and once again highlights how Tanjiro has an effect on everyone he meets. So his next mission now involves him and the rest of the guys meeting up with Kyojuro Rengoku, the number one strongest Pillar. My guess is that somehow, Kyojuro is going to have a one to one with Muzan, and that fight may cost him his life or his position in the Pillars. I mean, they way they are hyping him, you know something major is going down.

Overall, this anime has being fantastic. I can’t wait for  season 2. Hopefully it won’t take too long to complete.
