Hey, someone’s gotta ask the question, and with that 48 minute gameplay reveal from TGS 2019, I get the feeling I’m not the only one pondering this question.
So after months of trying figure out what this Death Stranding is all about, we finally get an unfiltered 48 mins gameplay reveal that showed us what your typical gameplay will be all about. From prepping up, surveying your surrounding and touch of combat, the gameplay more than enough painted a picture of what we can expect from Kojima’s latest title. I’ve already stated from my previous blog that I am still intrigued and even a bit excited by this game, however, I get the feeling that the gaming community may have set themselves up for a massive disappointment with the level of hype this game has received.
The visuals are stellar, and I have no doubt that the story will be great, but that gameplay leaves much to be desired. What I mean is that it does not look one bit exciting. I doubt a lot of people are looking to play a damm walking simulator with little combat. All I’m saying is that now people should begin to temper their hype and lower their expectation, otherwise, they’ll be in for a rude awakening. You can check out the gameplay below. Let me know what you think?
