That was single-handedly the dopest moment in this series. My goodness the hype in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 19 was unreal. I was on the edge of my sit wondering how Tnajiro was going to get out of this situation.

As the Swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps known as Hashiras arrived on Mt. Natagumo to pick up any surviving members, Giyu slays the Father Spider Demon with a single strike. It was there that we learned that the big guy wasn’t one of the Twelve demon moons. Instead, it’s Rui that’s the true member of the Twelve Demon Moons. The fight that insured between these two has to be hands down one of the greatest in this anime. The art style for this fight was by far the most unique and beautiful I have ever seen in an anime. I had chills till the end watching that intense fight of life and death. Especially when Tanjiro’s sword was snapped in two, that left me perplexed as to how he’ll continue the fight.

However, Tanjiro refused to give up and continued to fight to save his sister who at this point has been taken hostage.

It was here that we also got a bit of background on Tanjiro’s Dad and what he was like. That dance was what helped Tanjiro push past his limit and unleashes a new move, Tenth Style: The Dragon of Change. That whole move was epic as hell man. Now Tanjiro has both water and fire attributes making him quite versatile on the battlefield. Honestly, I was impressed with this episode. An Nezuko also improved, learning a new Demon blood arts that somehow ignites her blood with hot flames instantly. That part was amazing to see visually.

Overall, I was impressed with this episode. I can see how they rest of the squad will improve with time.
