Now this is what I’m talking about! Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 18 had some really epic and intense moments, each time making me wonder how they’ll get out of this mess. Tanjiro and Inosuke face off against the Father Spider Demon of Mt. Natagumo. Not only was he tough, but he flung Tanjiro like it was nothing, landing him to yet another fierce opponent.

Listen, even though we know main character isn’t going to die yet, it was still exhilarating to watch both Tanjiro and Inosuke struggle against the Father Spider Demon. No matter what they threw at him, his immerse strength was way beyond that of any demons thus far. After Tanjiro unleashes what he claims to be his most powerful  attack, he gets hurled away by the demon’s overwhelming power, landing near a river, where the young demon Rui was torturing the Sister Spider Demon. This was another great moment in the anime.

What I really liked about that scene was the way they conveyed the part in which Rui unleashes immerse pressure to try and intimidate Tanjiro after he slammed his bond of terror and hatred “a family’s bond”! Also, shoutout to that one demon slayer who got bodied. That guy got sliced up within seconds.

Inosuke on the other hand was getting bodied too. Despite that small moment of him actually using his head, he when right back to mindlessly attacking the Father Spider, successfully cutting his arm off. To bad that triggered a transformation and Inosuke almost had his head crushed because of it. That’s when Giyuu swooped in and basically destroyed the demon. I was wondering if Tanjiro will be able to extract that blood, since he needs it but oh well.

Overall, I have to say that this was one of the better episode for sure. That cliffhanger was cruel man. We know he lives but the question is how?
