You know, I know somewhere in the multiverse of comics there’s a child Kal-El that went pure evil and really let loose on his powers. BRIGHTBURN encapsulates on that idea to bring us one scary ass kid.

What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians of the Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.

Now, they never straight up say that this is based on an alternative Super-Man but how many aliens do you know that come from outer space, fly and shoot lasers out of their eyes? OK, you probably thought of a couple, so let me specify, how many babies do you know that are sent to earth from a dying planet and raised by local farmers? Exactly! Nevertheless, it looks really good, plus I’m curious to see how this kid will be stopped in the movie.
