Hey, the trailer did say to not trust anyone so excuse me if I’m wrong in saying that I still can’t fully trust EA’s word. Either way, I will say that this new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order looks pretty good.
Cal Kestis—one of the last surviving members of the Jedi Order after the purge of Order 66—is now a Padawan on the run. Experience this all-new single-player Star Wars™ story from Respawn Entertainment and EA Star Wars on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC this holiday season, 15 November 2019.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an action-adventure game set after Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith™. Develop your Force abilities, hone your lightsaber techniques, and explore the ancient mysteries of a long-lost civilization—all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.
EA hasn’t had the best of reputation with us gamers. I mean at this point who doesn’t know this, nevertheless though, when they come out and say things like “no microtransaction, no loot crate and all single player”, I can’t help but to raise an eyebrow or two. Let me say this, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order cinematic trailer did gett me hyped up. Everything in this game had some dope ass vibe to it and it certainly has captured my interest. What has me concerned though is their choice in words.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t it EA that said that single player games were dead? Now here they are, claiming that this game will be a full single player experience, boosting it like it’s some revolution (They didn’t but I’m just saying). Funny how life works huh? All I’m going to say it to be very wary on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Just because they say it’s a single player game, doesn’t necessary mean it’s going to be a GOOD single player game. I’ve noticed that the term “single player” is starting to become a buzzword in these cyberstreets so, like the trailer said, trust no one, trust only the force.
