I’ll be honest with y’all, I’m kinda burned out on all things cinematic Transformers. Look, I’m a huge transformers fan but these movies have felt like they’ve lost their way. I honestly couldn’t tell you the plot anymore at this point. Still, we got more Transformers movies coming out, with the latest being Bumblebee (2018).

Every hero has a beginning. Watch the new official trailer for #BumblebeeMovie, in theatres this Christmas.

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

For real, I can’t tell if these movies are about giant fighting alien robots or the coming up story of every damm teenager on the face of the planet. But above all else, the greatest of sins that has yet to be dealt with…is Bumblebee and his inability to speak. That is my biggest gripe. When will he speak normally, that shit ain’t cute. It’s like they’re trying to make him some Pikachu-like mascot for the series, nah he needs to talk! Anyways, as long as there are fans who are still watching, then I guess I can’t complain.

I mean the trailer did show some clips of the war in Cybertron so there’s something to look forward to in the movie. I really hope we get some good amount of that war and not some quick scenes near the end of the movie.
