Once in a while, I try to find some new comics to read and with the Titan live action movie leaving a sour taste in my mouth, I decided to check out some Teen Titans comics. I then stumbled upon Teen Titans Issue #20 and quite frankly…I enjoyed it.

Batman has no idea what he’s doing. Superman? Not a clue. Wonder Woman? Whatever. Damian Wayne is Robin, and he’s done with the bleeding-heart approach favored by the heroes of the senior circuit. New plan of action: recruit a new Teen Titans. Kid Flash, Red Arrow and newbies Roundhouse, D’jinn and…wait, Lobo has a daughter? That’ll end well. And then build something in secret deep beneath the new Teen Titans HQ. Secret from his teammates, secret from even Batman. It’s a secret that will change the way you look at Robin forever!

I wasn’t sure what I would be getting from this comic but, I have to say that I actually enjoyed this new version of the teen titans. Of course, nothing will beat the OG titans, but so far these new young heroes may have potential to them.

The idea of these new titans is that they’re are attacking and rounding up villains before they can even commit any crimes. However, Robin has taken this idea a step further. He has locked up the villains in one of Batman’s abandoned facility and has thrown away the keys. Aside from Robin, Kid Flash makes an appearance in this new Titans squad.

Everyone else is brand new to me. We got Djinn, Crush, Red Arrow and Roundhouse. Out of all of them, Djinn is the one that I’m most curious about. I want to learn more about her powers and how it works. That and I want to learn what she fears as well. There was panel were she said that she couldn’t use too much of her powers or “he” will find her. That got me interested.

I honestly can’t wait to learn more on how this story will play out. I would recommend you all to give it a read.
