Dragon Ball Legends Tie-In With The Dragon Ball Super 2018 Movie.
It’s speculation time. As you know, Bandai Namco announced a brand new mobile game called Dragon Ball Legends. Naturally, as a Dragon Ball fan, I’ve already pre-registered for the game but they also revealed a brand new, original character which I speculate to be Yamoshi.
Here’s what we know about the game:

From the gameplay trailer shown, it may not be a cut and dry fighting game but it’s a whole lot better than Dokkan and that’s good enough for me. Anyways, the topic today is the mysterious new character designed by Akira Toriyama. I’m speculating him to be none other than Yamoshi himself.
The reason why I’m making this assumption is based on the information that was provided for us at the Google Game Developers Conference and the character’s description itself. At Google Game Developers Conference where the game was first revealed, it was stated that this mobile game will have tie-ins with the new Dragon Ball Super movie that coming out in 2018. Along side that, the new character is described to be a warrior from a long distant past who’s somehow made it’s way to the present time. This can somehow be supported by the mysterious cloaked fighter standing beside the new character, Yamoshi. Maybe it was his doing that brought Yamoshi to our time. There’s also a dedicated story-mode that will dive further in the new characters origins.
When you really think about it, the only time a brand new character was created just for a new Dragon Ball game was in Xenoverse with the time patroller, and that was to let us know that that was our own character creation. It’s true that the same people who worked on Xenoverse 2 are also working on this game so maybe I might be wrong here. One can argue that it my the be a same deal here with Legends. But I don’t think so. However, we’ll just have to wait and see. Let me know what you guys think of my little theory? Fake News or Nah?
