Ubisoft just recently teased that Division 2 and that got me thinking as to what I’d like to see in the next installment of the franchise.
When The Division was first revealed, it looked very promising. It showed off some sick gameplay and introduced the idea of the Darkzone. Unfortunately, when the game released to the public, it was nothing like what was promised and shown to us at E3. However, things might be different this time as Ubisoft have vowed to make a game that will live up to their philosophy.
According to Ubisoft:
We’re thrilled to announce that we are working on Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, and that development will be led by Massive Entertainment in collaboration with Ubisoft Reflections, Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Bucharest. The Division 2 will be powered by an updated version of the Snowdrop engine that enables us to realize our ambitions for the sequel, but more importantly, we’re also taking everything we learned over the past two years and applying it towards the sequel to make sure we get it right.
Now, I ain’t a fool, I’ve fallen for too many of Ubisoft trap so I ain’t getting hyped until the reviews for this game comes out. However, I will say this, if they can capture the same atmosphere that they created with the first gameplay that they showed at E3 and make it a reality with the Division 2, then I would be pretty thrilled.
Let me know what you’d like to see in the Division 2!
