Bleach has been one the most sought out anime to make a return in 2018. Fans have been asking, damm near begging for Bleach to make a return and complete its run for a multitude of reasons which I’d like to explore today.

Bleach is a manga series authored by Tite Kubo that appeared in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from August 2001 until August 2016. Bleach adapted the first 54 volumes of Tite Kubo’s manga series of the same name. In addition, four anime-original arcs were broadcasted in-between and during the adaptations of original arcs of the manga. The manga concluded on August 22, 2016, however the anime stopped airing on March 27, 2012.

I was extremely disappointed with how the manga was handled near the end of it’s cycle. It was painfully rushed and left me dissatisfied with the conclusion. We learned later on that Tite Kubo was apparently forced to rush the ending of his own series, meaning that what we saw in the manga, may or may not have been Kubo’s true vision. That’s why I think it’s important for Kubo to find a way to bring Bleach back and finish the story he started long ago.

And with Dragon Ball coming back with Super, it shows that it can be done successfully, while adding new contents to flesh out the story and fill in any  plot holes.

He could use the anime to revise, take out or add in canon lore that was left out in the manga and really tell the story that he wanted. You don’t need something to be on a Manga for it to be canon. If the writer says that, that is his vision, then it’s canon. He can take notes and follow in Dragon Ball Super’s footsteps. Years after the manga ended, we’re still getting fresh new story-content for Dragon Ball that’s canon, with the manga adaptation following behind.

There’s also a huge demand for Bleach despite it’s quality declining after the Aizen arc. People really enjoyed what Bleach had to offer. The world, powers, characters and music were unique and interesting to see and the Anime had some of the best sword fights in it’s time, probably still does till this day. I also want to see the Quincy Blood War or the Thousand Year Blood War animated and done right. Maybe even rewrite that certain scene where Ichigo lost his new powers right after just getting them. That was complete bullshit in my opinion.

Anyways, what do you guys think? Should Bleach make a return in 2018/later or is it too late for the Soul Reapers?
