Well, it’s been a long time coming but we’re finally at the end of 2017 and we’re about to begin a new journey into 2018. I thought I should take some time and reflect back on everything that’s transpired over the year.

2017 was mixed bag of utter chaos and confusion for most people. Unlike 2016, which was a shitstorm in of itself, 2017 wasn’t all too bad for me.

Sure, I went through small amount of depression and all that shazz, which I’m currently working on improving, but all things considered I’m very thankful.

One of my goals in 2018 is to reclaim back my life and set multiple goals to accomplish. It’s true that I did set goals in 2017 and didn’t accomplish them but the attempts that I did allowed me to set up for things to come.

I got to travel to the United States, San Francisco and experienced a whole new world and culture which did nothing but inspire me to reach for the stars. Went to GDC (Game Developer Conference) which was a blessing in itself and had a blast. I watched a ton of anime this year which is a plus in my book, Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia been my highlight of Anime 2017.

Not only that, 2017 paved the way for the birth of “OmniGeekEmpire”, an outlet that has given me the opportunity to share my passion for gaming, anime and tech with you guys. I’m still learning though and will continue to learn to improve this site. I also invested in an Elgato HD60 Pro to take my YouTube channel to the next level so I’m really excited about that. I streamed a lot this year and got to talk to you guys which was incredibly fun. I’m looking forward to doing more of that next year.

Overall, I quite happy with the progress I’ve made in 2017. However, now I’m gunning for even higher goals in 2018.

I just want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU, to each and every single one of you amazing savages who decided to check out my blog, who followed this blog and supported me on this wild journey. Another THANK YOU to my YouTube subscribers, both old and new, for hitting that subscribe button, hitting that like button and generally being supportive as fuck. THANK YOU!

I look forward to venture into 2018 with you guys. Let’s GET IT!
