Hidden Gems On Steam You’ve Probably Missed & Are Worth Picking Up For Christmas!

Ever so often, there comes a game on Steam that many tend to miss, it’s no surprise given the amount of games that are available on Steam. Anyways, with the Steam Winter Sale around the corner, I thought I’d share with you some amazing titles that I’m sure you’ll enjoy…

1.Brothers- A Tale of Two Sons

The first game on my list is Brothers- A Tale of Two Sons. This game is phenomenal, it has an amazing narrative, great characters and visuals, and will easily leave a mark on you. The story goes as follows, a man, clinging to life relies on his two sons, who are desperate to cure their ailing father, set out upon a journey to find and bring back the “Water of Life”. This is one journey you will never forget. Trust me.

2. Silence: The Whispered World 2

The second game is Silence: The Whispered World 2. Silence is a  point and click adventure from Daedalic that just recently game out and is criminally overlooked. The sequel of “The Whispered World, Silence tells the of story of Silence, the grim, but also serene world between life and death. If you’ve played any of TellTale Games, then you’ll enjoy Silence. This game is basically like reading an interactive fairytale book that comes to life in front of your eyes. Definitely worth checking out.

3.Rise of the Tomb Raider

The third game on my list is Rise of the Tomb Raider. I’ve always enjoyed a game that gives you a sense of adventure and exploration, and Rise of the Tomb Raider delivers. This game in my opinion, probably had the greatest visuals of any game in 2016. From the snowy mountains to the ancient tombs, everything looked beautiful and extremely detailed. The story follows Lara Croft as she is struggles to explain her experience of the supernatural on Yamatai. Looking for answers, she turns to her late father’s research into the lost city of Kitezh and the promise of immortality.

4. Duelyst

Now this one is a bit different. DUELYST is actually a free-to-play collectible tactics game that I’ve recently gotten into and I have to say, I’m been having a blast with this one. DUELYST is a competitive strategy game focused on tactical combat, squad building, and ranked ladder play. Each battle is a 1v1 match between two online opponents. You get to chose from 6 factions, each with their own unique traits and abilities, and the sprites are awesome. Basically if you enjoy games like Fire Emblems and Yu-Gi-Oh then please try out this game. But be careful, you might get hooked on it like I did.

5.Redout

Last one on the list is called Redout. Redout is a tribute to the old racing monsters such as F-Zero, WipeOut, Rollcage, and POD. It is designed to be an uncompromising, fast, tough and satisfying driving experience, soaked in that vertigo that stands at the core of the arcade racing genre. if you’ve been looking for an anti-racing on PC, then look no further as this game will meet all your speed-demon needs.  It’s got great controls and with the Unreal Engine 4 been its backbone, you can expect great visuals from this game.

And that’s it from me, hope this list has helped you find your new favorite Steam game. If you got any games that deserves recognition, then please share them with us in the comments below.
