Creator and Director Genndy Tartarkovsky takes us behind the scenes to show us what’s it like to work on Samurai Jack after 12 years…

In the video, Tartarkovsky, along with the other cast members and artists talk about their experience in bringing Jack back to life in a digital era, while still maintaining his iconic visual. They also address that season 5 will have a more darker tone but will still be watchable by younger audience.

We also got to see a glimpse of Jack. He looks pretty pissed off.


Samurai Jack will return with brand new episodes in 2016. The exact date has not been confirmed yet. The new episodes will air as part of Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block on Cartoon Network. So stay tuned for that.
