EA just concluded its conference and they went straight into hours worth of Battlefield gameplay and damm this game look visually impressive…

From the live-streamed gameplay footage that was shown today, played by various pro players and celebrities such as Zac Efron, Snoop Dog and Terry Crew, Battlefield is looking pretty nice. They showed some very impressive stuff, like the Dreadnought, which at first I thought was a AI controlled but was actual controlled by a player.

The destructive environment is on a whole new level too thanks to the Frostbite engine and the variety of old school WW1 guns looks like they are going to be fun to use. Honestly, Activision will have to take the L this time around if Battlefield holds up with what they’ve showed us today.

It also goes without saying that all gameplay shown were played on the PC so my biggest concerns is what the required specs are going to be for this game and whether or not it’s going to be well optimized for both Nvidia and AMD. That and whether or not the gameplay will actual going to be fun too. Graphics are nice but the gameplay is what will keep you playing.

That is why I’m still staying skeptic and on the fence until the day this game comes out as I’ve seen what happened with Hardline and all the previous games before it.
