Fututre Trunks Is Coming Back In Dragon Ball Super With A New Future Trunks Arc

So a fan favorite Dragon Ball character will be making an appearance in the next arc of Dragon Ball Super, along with a interesting new villain….

So it was a much rumored discussion, ever since the interview with Toyotaro & Toriyama took place which recently revealed hints at possible things to come in the future for Dragon Ball Super, one of which has now been confirmed to be Future Adult Trunks.

Thing get even more interesting as we also get a small information about who the threat is that forced Adult Trunks to flee his future timeline and the description simply reads “Black Goku”. I honestly don’t know what to make out of this new info myself. Is it a Goku that was revived by black magic, a monster that bares the name of Goku, or is it perhaps a Goku from a different universe who’s gone tyrant, your guess is as good as mine.

The only thing that has me a bit puzzled is Trunks’s hair colour. Instead of his usual pink taint, it’s more blue now, like her mothers. Most fans, including myself, would naturally assume that Tori simple forgot the original colour, but I have a feeling that this was done on purpose for a reason. Guess we just have to stay tuned to find out.

According to the translation, all thanks to a Twitter user by the name of herms, it says:

This is really hype worthy stuff. Let me know what you guys think of the news. I was one of the few who thought it would be illogical for Trunks to make a return but I was wrong and I’m kinda glad that I am too.
