The First X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Official Trailer Really Successed In Generating Hype

So I just got done watching the first official trailer of X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, the sequel to the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past and I gotta admit it actually looks pretty dope…

The trailer was approximately 2 minutes long but it gave me a good look at what we can expect from the man himself, Apocalypse and his four horsemen. Speaking of the horsemen, I was actually surprised to see that Magneto and Storm are going to be his horsemen. He must have probably influenced them with his powers but we won’t know that for sure until the movie comes out. To some of you this may not have been a surprise but to me it was so don’t judge me.

I really liked the new X-Men outfits this trailer, a much needed upgrade from the previous outfits. The first thing that I noticed from this trailer was the sheer amount of destruction that’s about to befall earth and that got me really hyped up for this movie. I’m sure almost half of the movie will be CGI and some parts will have 3D as well, an example of that would be when archangel opened up his wings and unleashed shards towards the screen.

But my favourite part of the trailer was when Professor X eyes went pitch black while using the Cerebro and said “I’ve never felt such tremendous power”. That was the point when I knew that they were in for one hell of a fight.

Overall, I thought the trailer was pretty great, it got me hyped up and I can’t wait to see more trailers and eventually the movie itself.
