Indivisible is an upcoming action role-playing game that you’ll want to keep your eye on…
The game follows the story of Ajna, a girl who embarks on a global journey to discover the truth behind her mysterious powers.
I got the opportunity to try out the game and I am greatly impressed by what I got to play. The combat is inspired by Valkyrie Profile but there’s so much more to it than that. Rather than been a simple turn-based game, its actually more action-oriented. You can attack whenever you want as long as you have the required stamina bar to do so, you can also chain combos and time your block accordingly.
When I first played it, I honestly thought it was going to be easy, all I have to do is pay attention to when the enemy attacks Ajna and block, simple right?
During her quest, she is suddenly joined by a variety of unique heroes, I gained new abilities to traverse the different environments and found new ways to defeat my enemies encountered along the way.
I was very surprised at first to find out that these unique characters, each with their own special ability began to join my party as I progressed through the game and suddenly, without warning, the game became increasingly difficult. Soon after I realized that I now needed to pay more attention, predict who my opponent was going to attack next and keep my party alive.
I was forced to think and plan my attacks rather than just spam the attack buttons. This is what made the game so much more appealing to me. Each character has there own abilities which I had to make good use of if I wanted to progress further, specifically the healer, SHE IS THE MVP.
Zebei is the archer, Razmi is the shamaness and Tungar is a the swordman with a flexible, ribbon-like blade. They all have their own unique ability that can help turn the tide of battle to your favour.
This alone added a new level of difficulty and excitement to the game. The boss battle tho…actually you know what, I’ll let you find out for yourselves.
The graphics are really amazing and pleasing to the eye and the art-style is awesome. I really liked the music too.
I look forward to seeing more of this game in the future, it shows real potential.
