During the CitizenCon 2015 Presentation, we got to see what the people at Roberts Space Industries have been up to these past few months and the current state of Star Citizen…
We got to see a glimpse of the single player portion of the game and so far it looks amazing, well to me anyways as the animations aren’t final, but they do look pretty good so far and the story itself was interesting. They even had some well known figures playing certain Star Citizen characters such as Gary Oldman, Gillian Anderson, Mark Strong, Mark Hamill, John Rhys Davies, Andy Serkis, and more people who aren’t quite as famous but you get the idea.
We got a look at how the Star Map will function in Star Citizen and what really got me hyped up was that Robert confirmed that they have worked with astronomers to re-create the universe as much detail as possible while of course adding some little things to keep it from been too boring. Listen to me, this is as close to space as I’m ever going to get so I am thrilled about that news.
Lastly they talked more about the new 2.0 version that will be dropping soon and showcased all of the new feature like Multi Crew, Squadron 42 and more. It was really amazing and breathtaking to see this game at its current state. Maybe I am getting a little too hyped up for this but you gotta understand, I love anything that revolves around Space Exploration and this is right up my alley.
