Need for Speed creators claims that the franchise is making a  returns to its roots this fall, featuring a nocturnal open world, deep car customization and an immersion narrative that pulses through the experience…

I grew up with the Need for Speed franchise so for EA to make a claim like that brings me joy and fear at the same time. The past Need for Speed games have clearly lost what made the old school one great, focusing purely on realism rather than crazy high speed fun.

I really hope that this statement is true for their sake if not mine. They did release some really HD screenshot of two cars so thats something to look at. Lets see what they show us at E3 2015.
