The Last Guardian could make an appearance at this year’s E3 2015
This is just a rumour for now but its a rumour I couldn’t ignore…
For those of you who may not have heard of this game, The Last Guardian ’s story follows that of a boy who is trying to escape from a setting resembling the ruins of a large expansive castle. The game will revolve around the developing friendship between the boy and a giant, feathered creature, resembling a griffin, named Trico.
The game has been in development since 2007, and was formally announced at the 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo with a planned release in 2011 exclusively for the PlayStation 3 video game console. The game has since suffered from numerous delays and further complications, including Ueda’s departure as a full-time employee of Sony, though he remains as a consultant on the project.
But recently a NeoGaf user made a bold claim that we might just see the legendary guardian make an appearance, in what form or shape we still don’t know.
NeoGAF is a nexus of hardcore gamers, enthusiast press, and video game industry developers and publishers. This is a neutral ground where facts and evidence, presented within the confines of civil, inclusive discourse, prevail through careful moderation. People who make false claim here tend to be banned faster than Sonic can say “ChilliDogs”.
Guess we just have to wait and hope I guess.
