I just saw the world première reveal of Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate and I have to say it looks quite amazing…
The livestream starts off showing us the developer who are working on the new assassin game. The new Assassin Creed: Syndicate will based in Victorian London 1868 during the Industrial Revolution. The new protagonist in this game is Jacob Frye and his sister Evie.
The Pre-Alpha footage looks impressive, but Unity was like this as well until we realised how broken the game was in release so I wonder if Ubisoft have learned their lesson.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been in development for almost three years with Ubisoft’s Quebec City studios so lets hope the game will be polished by then but I wouldn’t have high hopes on that. Ubisoft have a lot to prove with this game if they want to re-gain the trust they lost with Unity.
It has also been confirmed that there will be NO multiplayer element in this game whats so ever.
Although the one thing I have always appreciated in the Assassin Creed series is the sheer detail that goes into re-creating historical moment from our past, so they have my attention with the game.
The game comes out on October 23 for Xbox One and PS4 and Autumn for PC.
