A lot of anime games have or are making their way to the glorious platform that is the PC and its our duty to support this new and wonderful trend, so here is my list of anime I would like to see make its way to the PC/STEAM…
BLEACH
Bleach is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. Bleach follows the adventures of the hotheaded teenager Ichigo Kurosaki after he obtains the powers of a Soul Reaper and goes on to become one of the most OP character in that world. I would really like to see a fighting game adaptation of this series with a solid story mode for both new comers to the series and old schools manga and anime watchers.
Fairy Tail
Fairy Tail is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima. The world of Fairy Tail, called Earth-land is populated by humans and numerous other races, Exceed, dragons, celestial spirits, and giant beasts. It revolves around a guild called Fairy Tail and the main protagonist is a boy called Natsu who is looking for his father. I’ll be the first to admit that this series isn’t the best in terms of story but regardless, a game adaptation of this series is most welcomed in my book.
Fullmetal Alchemist
Fullmetal Alchemist is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa. Edward and Alphonse Elric are alchemist brothers searching for the legendary catalyst called the Philosopher’s Stone, a powerful object which would allow them to recover their bodies. The brothers were born in a village called Resembool in the country of Amestris. Now I just recently watched this anime so thats why it made it to my list, now what they could do with this would be focus on the story alone, kinda like a single player experience. Trust me, watch the anime then you’ll know what I mean.
Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)
Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. Over one hundred years prior to the beginning of the story, giant humanoid creatures called Titans suddenly appeared and nearly wiped out humanity, devouring them without remorse or reason. With the power of the PC, the versatility and sheer scope this game would achieve would be amazing and if it were to have online and multiplayer mode were you have to defend the wall or explore the outside world with your friend…PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN.
Tokyo Goul
Tokyo Ghoul is a manga series by Sui Ishida. The story of Tokyo Ghoul follows Ken Kaneki, who barely survives a deadly encounter with Rize Kamishiro, a woman who reveals herself as a ghoul, a human-like creature that hunts and devours human flesh, and is taken to the hospital in critical condition. After recovering, Kaneki discovers that somehow he underwent a surgery that transformed him into a half-ghoul, and just like them, must consume human flesh to survive as well. Well this would be an interesting one to turn into a game, you could make a fighting game and a story element where you play both side, the humans and the gouls.
